Here at Tied With A Knot, we strive to keep things simple and elegant – including all this legal stuff.
All orders placed with Tied With A Knot are subject to these terms and conditions:
Pricing
Our prices are inclusive of VAT and do not include a delivery fee.
Delivery Address
It is your responsibility to provide us with the correct delivery address. Please carefully check the address before ordering as we cannot guarantee redelivery or a refund in the event of an incorrect address. If you give us the wrong address and we are unable to deliver the bouquet, we will charge you a R100 redelivery fee to send it out again the next business day.
If your suburb is not listed, it means we do not deliver there at this stage.
Delivery days
We operate five days each week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. You are more than welcome to order a Bouquet in advance.
Flowers in Today’s Bouquet
You won’t know what is going to go into the day’s bouquet until each morning’s visit to the flower market. Unlike a traditional florist, we arrange just one style of bouquet each day using the freshest seasonal blooms available.
Ordering
Orders placed before 1pm will be delivered between 11am and 5:00pm.
Delivery times
We aim to deliver between 11am – 5:00pm, but our delivery times may not be precise and, unfortunately, cannot be guaranteed. To ensure that you receive our bouquets in the best possible condition, we aim not to deliver to your door but to a person at your door. Therefore, please provide an address at which you are certain that there will be someone to receive the bouquet on arrival. If the bouquet is left at the door we hold no responsibility for theft or the condition of the bouquet once it is received.
We are also unable to guarantee specific delivery times as our drivers go via the most efficient route on the day, which helps keep the price of our flowers down. If you have a reasonable time request, please include it in the special delivery instructions in an email to us and we will do our best to accommodate. Keep in mind our Delivery Team leaves from Bassonia at 1pm and have multiple deliveries.
Flower Care
It is important to put your flowers in water as soon as possible. Remove any greenery from stems so that no leaves will be submerged, then trim each stem at an angle. Keep your flowers in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight, fireplaces or heaters and the fruit bowl. Change the water and re-trim the stems every two days. Flowers thrive in ice water!
Signature Flower Food
Each bouquet comes with a bottle of ‘Tied With A Knot’ Posy Food. Please decant the entire bottle into a 1 litre vase for best results.
Complaints
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with the state of your bouquet please contact us via email hello@tiedwithaknot.co.za with your order reference number within 12 hours of receiving your item. Refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
